Can't run the game :(

Tried rebooting and reinstalling but doesn't work...

My device specifications are
64bit, Window 10, intel core i3, 4GB RAM, and 20GB of available space but all I got when I opened the game was a small bar in empty black screen... Can somebody help me?

the game can be sometimes super slow to load at the beginning because it loads all the sounds & musics first, but when you're done it's supposed to run well and no long loadings anymore :)

I read this so I waited 30 minutes and nothing happened. I really want to play it, so I hope it gets fixed in the next patch.

A ~30 min wait for me did nothing as well, so misery loves company. Granted my PC is a little over a decade old (but it's 64 bit, Win 10, AMD A10-6700, Radeon HD 8670D, 12GB RAM, and has plenty of storage space).

I'm on the same boat, will have to wait for a patch. In my case some music plays when I run the game but it stays on a black screen forever.

Hey everyone!
Unfortunatly, you're only a few to have this bug so I would need more infos to understand why it's happening to you and not to the other players... You guys should have something in common which make the game not working, but I have no idea what it could be for now :/

We'll look for help on this problem though!
In the meantime, I can recommend you to check if Sheepy is using your GPU as it should. On some pcs we've spotted that sometimes it uses the CPU instead, which is causing performances problems. It should be fixed but it may still happened on some pcs!

I just check task manager the game running 6 same program called "SheepyAShortAdventure.exe" in the background and one of them almost filled up my RAM like crazy and always using 100% HDD before freeze my laptop. Does the game by any chance use Vulkan exclusively? My GPU is a Radeon HD5770 and it is not Vulkan compatible, I was thinking that might have something to do with the problem (although it would be weird that the game launches at all if that's the case).

My current situation is as follows:
I try to run the game, a small window opens with an empty loading bar in it. After a short while (just a few seconds), I can't see if the bar fills or not but the game goes to a black full screen, I hear music for a couple of seconds (must be the menu music I guess) and after it ends, my mouse pointer goes in "busy" state for 1 second and then the screen stays black forever, with no music or anything. Pressing Alt+Enter doesn't help in getting out of full screen. The game doesn't freeze the pc, I can Alt+Tab with no problems and the game closes normally by pressing Alt+F4. Steams thinks I'm playing the game because it measures all the time with the black screen as time played.

Thanks for the additional details!
The empty loading bar is a normal thing: It's the game pre-loading all the sounds and sometimes it stays empty until it's fully loaded. But then you should have a music + a first scene and the black screen is clearly not a normal thing.
It could be something about the RAM but I'm not sure at all about anything for now. We've planned to contact people skilled with that kind of things and we'll try to find the problem and fix it during next weeks!

Similar issue here, only it's not opening at all. No black screen. No empty load bar. Nothing. Steam says it's running, but nothing happens. I even checked my task manager, and no Sheepy processes at all. My specs are as follows:

Not loading for me either. Click play, small window with blue loading bar pops up for 10 seconds or so, then closes. Game isn't running in task manager and steam goes back to green 'play button'
