Hey there - I'm gathering information on this issue currently, and it would be really appreciated if you could provide any video clips or images showing this issue occurring, and what it looks like for you and your friend separately. I want to provide the dev team with as much information as I can so that they can look into this ASAP.
Yes, both players need to own The Devil in Me in order to play it together, if playing Shared Story (online co-op). There isn't an active Friend Pass for the game at the moment.
