Why is gore / violence / profanity acceptable but not even PG-13 nudity?

+1 USA puritanism is so f*cking cringe and games need more sexual expression that games like The Witcher,Cyperpunk or even OG Dragon Age or Mass Effect 1-3 are not afraid to have it's funny to me how in some 18+ games you have extreme gore body parts flying blood galore but if it involves the character romantic relationships the most you get is kissing and it cuts off like a muthaf*cking pg show for kids it makes me laugh.
In this society apparently murder and gore is normal but omg pear clutching if someone has sex or nudity in media absolute lunacy.
How extreme gore is so normalized and sexuality in games in still some kind of taboo is so pathetic it makes gaming look like childish immature artform that can't handle adult subjects.
18+ TV shows like GOT,House Of Dragon and Dexter or Spartacus have no problem having nudity and gaming if it wants to be taken seriously as mature artform aimed at adults and not children and teens shouldn't be afraid to show it either what are they afraid of exactly whining puritanical deranged radfems in resetera and twitter or insane theocrats? They are absolute minority of gaming demographics.
It seems like European developers like CD project red are the only ones who are not puritanical cowards.

Because there was no actual need to see Marie naked. Could they have done it? Sure. But they chose to be creative with camera angles like many movies do.

Now, I DO agree that America has it's priorities switch, but come on.

Also keep in mind, not every movie that could have nudity doesn't simply because of American censorship. Sometimes the actress herself doesn't want to do it, and that's okay. Especially when this game is so heavily motion captured, there is very well a chance that maybe the motion capture actress didn't want her character to be nude. I forget what game it was, but there was a a motion capture game a few years ago that showed the character nude in the shower and the actor got mad because it was still their body, even as pixels.

EDIT: Okay, in a very offensive way, someone reminded me that it was Elliot Page and was a body swap. Still, Elliot was not happy about it.
