It's not like they are re-inventing the wheel here, they should have this game design down-pat by now and be avoiding 90% of these bugs.
I guess I'll wait for a sale based on reviews and wait for it to be fixed/patched.
I am sorry to hear that you have each come across issues in The Devil in Me.
If possible, please submit formal reports of any issues you've come across to us via the Bandai Namco support portal:
EU: https://service-en.bandainamcoent.eu/app/list/p/7814/THE%20DARK%20PICTURES
US: https://support.bandainamcoent.com/hc/en-us
Please include as many details as you can in your reports, including which mode is affected, which chapter(s) you've encountered these issues in, where in the chapter the issues have occurred, and also which characters are impacted. Any images or videos that can be provided as visual evidence of the issues would be gratefully received.
Once we have more information, our devs can then investigate further, and start to get to work on any possible fixes.
Thank you!

Or... hot tip, just read your own discussion threads with the hundreds of people all detailing the buggy glitches happening instead of trying to hand ball the problem to the consumer to fix your problem? I'll give you this one for free though, your co-op mode is broken, constant desyncing issues, constant camera locking in place issues, constantly heads bending and warping around like the exorcist issues...
I am doing my best to capture the details of any bugs / issues that I see enough information provided about in threads such as this one, however a lot of comments that I'm seeing are generic, and the team need more information to work with.
It's best that these issues are reported through the formal support process as then these can be directly communicated to our developers to investigate. The team there can recommend troubleshooting, workarounds and request information that may be relevant that I cannot in a public space.
Please consider submitting a support case with the full details of the issues you've experienced so that the team can investigate. Thank you.

Have you ever worked in software or customer service? It's easier to get problems fixed when you assume the best intentions in the other party.
Namco/Supermassive needs for real to focus on fixing bugs. So far all Supermassive games on PC have had glaring day 1 bugs, "Devil in Me" is objectively the buggiest game of them all so far
I have myself reported bugs with previous "Dark Pictures" games through the "official" Namco support website, that have to his day not been fixed
Let's be honest: I'm sure the developers are aware of all the bugs and problems, but it still astounds me that they released it in such a state. I'm not sure if the publishers rushed it out or the developers changed, but it's really bad, so bad that Supermassive_CM's only game played on account is the devil in me, most likely for bug checks. I understand that players may not give constructive criticism, videos, or images of the bugs in their current state, but the game should have been properly tested beforehand by the team or a 3rd party, not the players themselves.
The team are investigating more and more reports as they come in, however we need further information in many cases to formally identify the issues mentioned. This is why additional reports, as well as additional details, are incredibly valuable. I'll provide updates regarding the work the developers are doing when I can. 😊
Also, just as my played games has been brought up - I'd like to make clear that I'm not a developer myself, I'm the Community Manager for Supermassive Games, so I don't do any testing. At times I will attempt reproduction on behalf of a player if they can give me reproduction steps, to see if I can help the development team by getting a video of the issue for them if the player can't, but that's as far as I go beyond playing and experiencing the games for myself.
As additional context for the number of games played on this specific account - this Steam account isn't my personal one, it's purely for my work, so my whole library isn't visible. Plus, as my primary platform is currently PlayStation, you won't see my experience with our back catalogue reflected by my games played on here! So please don't think the only games from us that I've played are the ones showing on my Steam profile.

Is there a date for the Steam release version of a patch soon? There are hundreds of people who have played it since day one and have not attempted to try playing it again as there is many issues with the co-op/online portion of the game (myself included as it is too buggy for me to attempt to retry and play it). There are many messages on the Steam discussion boards as well as tags and messages on Twitter as well from many individuals.
