Any chance for a full sprint toggle?

Recently came back to play this game after being three levels away from beating it. However, I noticed with the sprint toggle, it only works when you start moving. Is there any way to have sprint toggled to permanently on? Feel like it would help a lot with the precision jumps you need to make.
