Outpost energie cap?
Commanders of Outpost 11

Does anyone of you know what the "caps" for our Outpost are?

From a little testing around: Having more then 2800 Energie doesnt seems to make any sense.
I have a 4265 max energie and start a City ruin 5 with "only" 2732. So i waste 1,5k energie right now.

Are there any more stat caps that i should know about?
Is there a limit to Core power?

Core power cap is 3000 , it gives 300% bonus damage, dunno about the x field range since on extreme range you can't even see the blue circle anymore..

As far as I recall, starting energy is a percentage of your maximum + a minimum value, so having higher capacity means you also start out with more energy.

Thx for the info about Core Power. So i already overcapped there a little :(
Really? % from max energie thats sounds so odd... Strange desing but i will test it .)

When you select a difficulty, I believe there's a text box that describes how much Power you'll receive, usually something like "400 + 50% of max outpost capacity" or somesuch. The higher the difficulty, the more energy it'll give you at start.

By the way, don't mix up Core Power and your energy capacity - they are two separate things. Energy capacity is just that - the storage space for energy you can take with you.
Core Power influences the strength of your turrets, and the range of your X-Field.

Energie goes down to 2530 if you have 3860. So i "reduced" maxpower by 405 and lost 202 for the expedition.

Nyamses is right with what he wrote :)
So no cap for Energie. Just for Core Power

This is what I've been able to tell so far:
Power/Energy starts you with 50% of your maximum power + 600 flat

The first card when selecting an area is a Well Prepared buff. It gives 100/200/400/600 + 50% of your max power capacity. (Desert/Woodland/Snow/City)

By the time you will start to feel this is in City or if you grind out a lot of lower level areas and just fill your base with batteries. Having a higher cap is still good because it does impact how much starting energy you have but after a certain level it is just at a reduced rate. You can still get up to that cap depending on how much material farming you do during the tours.

There is NO core output power cap. You can go as high as your outpost design can fit. Don't listen to anyone who says it is capped.

It appears that Damage Buff is currently capped at 300% which is achievable at 3000 core power which could be a bug. It also appears that X-Field is not affected by it and keeps increasing with your Core Output.

What do you mean by no core power cap?
The hard limit is 10 000 you won't be able to increase it beyond Seems to be boosted to 100k.

3000 is currently the set limit for boosting your turrets. Unsure if they also changed it's limit will see.

X-field just stop showing once you get too high since it's mostly bigger then most of the maps except infinite siege.

Energy (electricity) has no limit, which is different but after 4000 you really don't need more for a basic Tour. Increasing it just allows you to spend it in a more wasteful way to get more materials.

Been wondering about the field range myself. Is there a practical reason to extend this range beyond the 3000 core output for damage boost? Or should I just hover around 3000?

The only thing that scales past 3k core power is Player Defense in the X-Field. So if you want more defense you can keep stacking but effectively there is no reason to go beyond 3k.

Yeah at that point I imagine the only real reason is redundancy, but if your getting that kind of thing blasted out of your base, other things are going to help you more.:raven:

I have 4700 power.
The diminishing returns for expeditions starts at around 1500 Power.
After that you get exponentially less, as when I had 2550 I started with 1600 power, but with 4700 I only start expeditions with 2900.
The highest possible map length you can get is 15 nodes on City Ruins 5, (there is an achievement tied to it) which can only cost 1400 energy to traverse the entire map, any extra is a heavy investment, and best used for spamming scans and unlocking doors.

TLDR aim for 1400, anything extra is just a bonus.

PSA: On recovery day you can spend Energy on Risk events
Costing 100, 200, 300, etc
So extra power is defintely worth building and having
