Quitting because of Infinity Siege
I'm taking a break after 67 hours because after my first infinity siege mode, I lost because I didn't realize I needed to board the airship before it left. What a horrible function. I was having to go through the loot because this mode decides to drop it all on the ground like its Call of Duty Warzone. And also what's the point of building in Outpost. In infinity siege the goal is to defend the forward points and hopefully you never even fight at your outpost. In tour mode after running around for 1.5-2 hours looting you defend your outpost for 10 minute on recovery day? I'll follow updates but I would like to see major reworks around Tour mode and Infinite Siege.

Yeah, there should be a loot generating thing behind your outpost on Infinity Siege. Current mechanics make no sense, since there's little to no point in continuing when all of these things are destroyed.

The container should work in your base too so the loot can be shared.

I mean I guess the Ship saying, Pickup has Arrived, and the Huge ass timer Counting down on screen isnt enough of warning

The drop ship auto leaving in Siege is because of Multi player
Otherwise one player could board and then press the complete button while other players haven't boarded yet.

I've even experienced a successful extraction multiple times where when I get back - none of the loot came home with me...

That's because the loot is not shared in Siege. You get what you can carry in your inventory and what you can send out with your cargo drones if you have any on the outpost installed. And NONE of it is shared between coop players.

Siege mode in its entirety needs a full rework. From the stupid design of forward bases in a game where 90% of its combat is based around the Outpost to worthless rewards and the fact it's not shared. It's a waste of time mode as is.
The whole idea of individual loot in a PVE COOP game is beyond my comprehension.

I think Infinite Siege should be changed to something like this.
Your Outpost is first in line from on coming enemies, protecting a base that is mining/"gathering loot"
The loot generated should automatically go into a recovery container
Each new wave the loot should be recovered.
Each wave you can choose for a boon/buff/loot or for the evac to come and land
If the evac lands the waves still progress but you generated less or no loot
The evac is there for you to press on and push your limits of what wave you can survive to but get on the evac when things really get bad.

Same too me in this Game but by me it was the normal Siege Modus. Ich fight 4 waves from Mechanos and then i would left the Game. Meachanos too heavy to besiege. I serch then the Ground for loot but there is no timer it say you have no more Time to loot to go to the Airship OMG . I Search the ground and find a many Boxes of Orange loot , Weapons maybe, but dont have inventory to take it. Then i DIE and iam in the Base , but my Char is dead too. I cant see him in the quarters, NOO he is in the Hospital and i SEE i must PAY 10..000 Credits to buy him free. 10.000 Credits a lot of Money there fore i must search for 6 Hours in Snowfield ebene 1 and at the Endday every a Bosss and it is so horrible. They must patch more things in this game than this.

It's called the LEARNING CURVE. The games you see, too many are busy playing them. The tutorials you cannot even remember everything in one fell swoop. You just keep grinding on playing the same game. My suggestion? Play and focus on only one game. If it is something like DOTA 2 or a simpler game, that would be like nothing. But the game is so detailed, and it is also being updated every now and then. They will update it again on the 15th.

Honestly, don't quit the game. Just get better at it. I won't say Git Gud, because honestly, it is a good game. But we have to start from the beginning of the game like the rest. I wanted to use a Mod on it yesterday, but then again it did not work.

But also, it is way more fun to learn on the fly. But we do have Youtube. Just check up on the Tips and Tricks, the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), and How-Tos and also some Walkthroughs in case you need Site Recon. But they say it is spoiling the game, but the fun part for me are the Events leading up to it. So yeah, if you play, it is your story of how you got to that point, but I only hope they have New Game+ so I can hoard the equipment, so that it is not like Monster Hunter, or Call of Duty.

I definitely died my first time and it pissed me off too. But it also doesn't really matter and to me it really just revealed to me that infinity siege is a trash mode and not worth it compared to exploration with friends. Hopefully eventually they fix it to make it worthwhile.

Yeah that is true about learning on the fly. It has been a relief not knowing everything there is about the game before it even came out from Youtube. I guess what has annoyed me is that some of the game features seem to be working against itself.

I had the same thing happen to me. There is a way to use the save file right before you enterd the infinity siege. If you lost gear that can help. Otherwise time wasted, lesson learned.

you are literally complaining about being stupid. the game made it abundantly clear you can either clear all enemies and get to loot all you like or you evac quick and get a timer to leave. why you blaming the game

Not being mean here but they have a huge timer that is telling you to leave >_>.... It clearly says evac ship <.< >.>
