why no dlc pursache?
i got the key from my friend and i activate it... and i saw i only can buy the vanguard itself cause they dont sell it alone ... why?! u really want me to buy the game to get the exclusiv? thats scam

I am told that the devs have already moved on to Outpost: Infinity Siege 2. So they may not want to go back on their word that they would never offer the vanguard as a DLC. You really are not missing anything other then a gold paint for your base. The weapons are mostly just a reskin for the weapons you get in the base game. The weapons are also med tier and most likely will be replaced with hellfires when you start doing the endless.

Vanguard Edition is a supporter edition. It just has some different cosmetic turrets (simply stat swaps) and base cosmetics. You either get base game without supporter cosmetics included or supporter edition which just includes those cosmetics cause you wanted to pay extra to support them for cosmetics. No scams.

I got the game from a colleague and would have to pay again if I wanted the vanguard edition. I can't buy it any other way, only if I were to buy the vanguard edition again even though I already have the base game. That would be a double charge... scam

its not a double charge because by definition it is 2 separate versions. One has supporter content one doesn't. You can indeed buy BOTH standard and supporter IF YOU WANT. This is not a double charge this is just you paying extra for no reason at all for the supporter cosmetics AND STILL owning an additional standard version as well. Now if you didn't obtain both products it would considered a double charge. Double charge can only happen if you got charged twice for the same thing. Again supporter cosmetics don't come in base game.

Told by who? Last I read, the developers were being dropped from their publisher after a failed launch of the first game?

Doing research is important so no it's not a scam It's your fault for not reading what the steam store offer.

Its hardly someones fault if they are initially wary of a game with a poor initial reception from an unknown developer which functionally has a deluxe edition.

It may have been intended as a supporters edition but given the amount of people who have been asking for an upgrade option since launch I'd wager they would have made a fair bit extra by adding one.


I for one have upgraded in a heatbeat, was almost going to repurchase the game again for it when they had announced they were done with the game.
