Before he wipes out my base?

When designing your base you should move your core back to close to the rear of the design. Giving you more space to work with. Try moving your core back and putting some 105 on top and see if that helps. more space means more 105s. arty is the only weapon other then the player that will attack the Kronos. moving your core back doesnt seem like much but that space you get will help out alot in the long run.
Also, if you have the Inferno Xen it's amazing against bosses. Just activate Free-Fire and then hold the trigger down while facing the general direction of the boss. No more boss
1) Artillery set on massive targets only + direct fire + auto fire
Indirect fire has a rather short range, but direct fire can hit enemies far away as well.
Prewar Artillery can still do the job but I suggest two 105mm or double 105mm to kill Kronos Omega.
Later you will get access to a larger triple 16" cannon turret which is a lot more effective.
But if you do not have those yet, the good old artillery guns will do the job as well ;)
Hint: Make sure auto fire is enabled ^^

2) CWIS for missle interception
Use at least 2, better 4 CWIS when you encounter Kronos Omega for the first time. Later you will have more or even Hellfire turrets :)
Set the priority for missiles on high, leave the rest as it is. If you ahve trouble feeding all thise CWIS, then you can also set 2 of them on missiles only and saving you lots of ammo.
This will take care of most the incoming fire.

3) Aim for weakpoints
You can see a few glowing things scattered around the outer shell of Kronos Omega.
To support your Artillery, you can aim for the weakspots.
If you destroy enough weakpoints (or the correct ones, I am not entirely sure about that), then you will shut down Kronos Omega for a moment. AFterwards it reboots and starts walking towards you again but it buys you time to deal more damage to him.

And that's it.
- Intercept incoming fire with CWIS
- Let your artillery shoot at Kronos Omega
- Help your Base by shooting the weakpoints

If you're on the story mission, you get a whole bunch of reinforcements on your left flank just before Kronos Omega arrives. They're under your control, so you can move them up and attack it. They're a big help.

reinforcements? like guardians? I have ran the mission about 20 times and never noticed them. where are they at?

It's something like fifteen guardians and three cataphracts. They appear down the left lane, just past where the enemies spawn. You get a notification that reinforcements have arrived when they appear.

They're extremely powerful!
