I can’t find any comm modules is there a way to find them I can’t continue the storyline until I find 5 more.

You can keep running missions, they should be around, but a "shortcut" is the shop, at the bottom right you can reroll the inventory, (it does get more expensive each roll), comm modules are sold in it. so you will likly end up with 2-3 rerolls then a mission long enough to bring in new stock naturally (and resets the reroll price).

I'm also farming for them. Right now i've last completed snow 3.

My advice is to try and farm the most difficult level you know you can complete.
This gives better loot overall.

And if you can get you hands on a cargo drone, you send the things you really want back to base.

This way you can have the lowest timer at the final battle.

Alternatively could get the most loot, with a few 100%-400% boosters to increase your money. And buy it off the market like Ethonal said.

try to quick loot everything so you can make your tours faster, faster = more money more loot

I got like 20 before I ever even started needing them... purple loot is easy to find as long as you aren't in border woodlands/windy desert...
