So I have no clue how to repair the wall, turret or core. No indicators either.

3 ways I've found to repair the base, but there may be more.
1. There is a buff for auto repair of the base, but it's pretty rare.
2. Sometimes you find a repair weapon on specific maps that you can use to repair while you are there - they are usually in the tech buildings that require a keycard to get in.
3. Easiest for me is to replace a weapon XEN i'm not using with one that repairs when your bullets hit the base. It will heal while you shoot your own base, but it does eat a lot of ammo..

To build on number 2 from Talltale, if you find the repair weapon on the map, you can replace the turret on a Guardian with it, and then have a repair Guardian for the rest of the tour/mission.

Two things about this.

Firstly, I read elsewhere that you need to do this on a supporter guardian specifically because the others will shoot (and repair!) enemies instead of repairing your base.

Secondly I had problems with installing the repair beam on the guardian. It wouldn't give me the "install" option until I first installed onto a machine gun turret then took it off THEN put it on the guardian. Very odd.

Later on you can also get a healing grenade launcher thing you can put in your base. It costs energy to use but I think it fixes your base when used.

It does, yes. Good for firing at the front line to heal your turrets that aren't even on your base. In theory. They tend to die too fast.

if your on about the step in the tutorial - there is a repair gun on one of the turrets outside your base on the building your meant to rip off and repair your base with
