Mouse Cursor Stuck

So it's stuck to the middle of the screen and I can't look around. Tried changing to windowed mode etc and still doesn't work. Was working fine until the new patch came out. Even tried replacing it with a wired mouse and same problem. Was using wireless before.

I experienced this for a few days, couldn't figure it out and searching for an answer to this bizarre issue only led to this post.

I tried changing every setting in-game to no avail.

For me the problem was having a wired xbox controller connected and laying on the floor face down. Unplugging the controller fixed the mouse. I don't know how or why, but having the cursor stuck was quite debilitating. The FPS portions were fine but base building and base commands were nigh impossible.
