How do you place the batteries better?
Do you have any other optimized way to do it?

Sorry for asking this..i am not far into the game, but ..do Waves only attack from Front, Left and Right since your batteries are all in the back? I thought in higher difficulties they attack from all sides?

Some can go at the back like flying units. I am not on that yet. Most of them get caught by Phalanx or Smart mortar.

Ahh good to know. Well i dont have any Phalanx or smart mortars yet. Just machinegun and the 30mms.

just a hand full of mg turrets in the back is fine, i have a single mg turret to defend my butt in the event that something does slip by, but usually they only come from the front and sides. Normally everything dies before they get close enough.

3 pillars in a line gives 3 rows of batteries on either side. So far, that seems to be the ideal. The second option would be windows because they alternate their slots above and below the window so you get 2 instead of 1.

Generic panels also give 2 slots for battieries as well, both up top and out of the way as well

While the pillars are nice to have, I am utilizing the generic walls (easier to integrate into most designs) for batteries and fill the space beneath with storage as to not waste volume.

Yeah, pillars and generic walls. Windows also have 2 places for batteries - one side it's on the top, one side it's on the bottom.

3 Pillars also can hold 4 small generators instead of 3 batteries.

3 pillars then. Strong and simple.
FieserMoep 5/abr./2024 às 7:14
Another advantage of going generic wall aside of double usage for storage is also the fact that they boost core output.

also
3x walls uses up 3 Material load
3x Pillars use up 12 material load
Good for maximising Material, Bad for saving space
