Viper Chain Gun = Twin Barrel Light Turret?

Are they the same?

Since Type 30 CIWS is also the normal CIWS as a reskin
So Viper Chain Gun = Twin Barrel Light Turret?

Curious since the description of the Viper Chain Gun says "...armor piercing.." while the Twin Barrel Light Turret description says "... large-caliber pyro rounds..."

I’ve heard they are functionally different but I haven’t tested. Pyro in game does ignore armor though.

Also the Type 30 ciws seems to be much shorter which is a nice perk.

nope not at all the viper has 8k range and single target rounds that take 20 ammo per shot it fires as the rate of 1.5 sec... as for the twin light turret it has a 10k range with a slight aoe but each shot takes about 40 ammo it fires at an alternating 3 secs so they have the same fire rate but over all they do about the same dmg.

Where do you see the stats of the turrents? I cannot find it. I would like to see the damage to calculate if they are worth or nt.

in the edit mode toggle the top right filter looking bracket there you can select your turrets and adjust their firing range and also see the ammo consumption and ammo type

How do you get the blueprints for the viper chain gun and 30 CIWS? According to the research station I found all available blue prints on the maps and I still can´t build them. Are they archived at the dawn base mode or hidden?
