Cargo Drone Placement

I've got two Cargo Drones. Where do I place them so they aren't 'blocked'? I can't seem to use them if they're blocked but the game doesn't explain what the parameters of that are.

They need a completely open area above them at least.

I tried having a battery on a wall that was next to the drone and it blocked it. So all of its tiles need to be clear from above. At least for 2 tiles up. But likely much more.

Makes sense. They were both beneath the Outpost's roof, I believe~ Thanks
