When do you unlock the CIWS?

This snow map is rough without them and im still on single barrel 30's and machine guns. I think I read that you dont need the buy-up version of the game to have the CIWS right? If I actually do need that other game version, what should I use against those mortar bois?

Just the Type-30 comes with the other game version. Either farm money on the snow map and refresh the shop till you can buy CIWS. Or search for the blueprints on the snow maps. Maybe you shoud skip the final wave.

The research guy says I have no more blueprints on the snow map. Didnt realize it can show up in the shop. But like, judging by what you said, it unlocks through a blueprint in the snow area, and not like a main mission or anything?

Ohh I think I am actually at the mission where I get it. Where you had to build your mech and now they want a main mission done. I think that might be it.

Yeah I did it some time ago. So I wasn't sure if it's a blueprint or not. 8) But you're right I remember that I got it after I did a storyline mission.

The Nebuals Mission will have you collect the CIWS blueprint

Just for reference so that no one gets confused.
1. You get CIWS blueprint from following the main storyline.
2. You can only buy items for blueprints that you have researched, so you can't just get a CIWS from rerolling the shop.
