seraph/kronos fight tips
so guys i have a knight hangar 2 ciws some machine gun turrets bunch of 30mm single cannons does anyone know how i can get past the kronos i see that he is a ranged boss but im not sure exactly how to destroy him considering he can emp your entire core tower and destroy your buldings with all the missiles all i know is that the ciws is good at taking out the missiles but by the time he spawns all the small mobs close in to my core tower and its just complete chaos from there but my turrets just get destroyed in a matter of seconds because of kronos i never tryed to fight him with my knight before so idk how its gonna go but if anyone can help me that would be nice, thank you.

also my mission is to defeat seraph on difficulty 3 the problem like i stated above kronos comes first.
The tanks on the front line can be manned, do a lot of damage and have 3 shots each, if your operative has enough damage and range you can shoot the red vents on its legs and body to "stun" it and deal a lot of damage as well.

Addendum-Also it's a good idea to focus saving the forward Promethean core so your flanks don't get over ran if your having trouble.

tanks? you mean the artillery?
No theres 2 tanks sitting by the frozen lake left and right of the Promethean core. Also the free artillery on the map set them to direct fire only massive targets range max and set to auto fire
got it
my biggest issue fighting kronos the first time was a bad gun.

try and use a "heavy" xen, with a marksman barrel, a high power scope, and "multiplier" booster xens. these should help boost your damage a lot. Avoid the lightning xens for your heavy, because i dont think they will hit the weakspots like your bullets will (they will hit the top of kronos iirc).

Also, if you shoot at the weak points near his knees, you can make him "fall over" for a few seconds. This might help a lot too.
Another option would be a fast firing XEN (Light, Inferno) while stacking Torment XENs, one full mag on one of the Kronos weak spots will absolutely melt its health (It's fixed damage, so actual gun performance isn't important), after dumping that mag (Or using Free Fire to really chunk it's health) swap to a Heavy XEN or something else that can pick off a few weak spots and you should be able to absolutely melt the Kronos really quickly (Bonus points for setting any Artillery into auto-fire mode and only let them engage massive units)

Just remember that Torment/Apex does 1% of the enemies current health per stack, so it gets weaker the lower it's health is, so don't only use that XEN preset.
Simply shoot his weak spots.

I failed this a few times until I realised it's you who has to beat him on this mission, not your base.

I used a fast XEN and mods and once I realised I had to get off my ass to do it, he died fast. I'd suggest focusing on his central "eye" and middle gun first. Once they are down then shoot his leg weak spots - good luck!

Honestly? I'd recommend to hit the legs first and foremost, since it'll fall over when you knock out 2 or 3 of them, then you can hit the top facing weak spots, does the central eye weakspot have some sort of special effect? Can't say I've ever noticed any personally.
One target you can also shoot for are the large launchers on his shoulders, strip them and he loses alot of firepower.

Wait... The launchers and turrets have hit boxes and can be destroyed? Is the Crius the same?

The 305mm arty is way better as this, because of it's range a single one will kill it super fast.
