Walls direction
Does it matter wich side of the walls face the enemy? Like.. is there a clear outside that takes less damage?

The easiest way to code it is that it's just a wall object with different HP, the game doesn't tell me otherwise so my educated guess is that it doesn't matter.

No. It's purely aesthetic as far as taking damage is concerned. Although Armored Walls and Utility Walls only have mounts on one side, which can effect how you want to build.

It kinda does depending what your building with, different pcs have different snap points. but I perfer the accual wall parts or flat parts elc to face outward same thing with wording on doors.

There is one exception, armor panels, if the supporting wall is destroyed first the panel is destroyed as well, you do however still get the bonus HP of having the panel on the wall however, so it comes up to a choice of another 500-600hp barrier before the wall starts getting damaged or not.

My take on this is: if you want to double up (Use one panel to buff two wall segments at once) keep the panel on the inside. If you are going to fully plate up the area, mount it on the ouside as ablative, since any AoE damage that leaks through won't have as much impact after the panel is blown off and the max hp drops with the loss of the armor bonus.

But that's contingent on a couple of things I am not sure how to verify:
1. That the max health updates in real time when a buff is lost.
2. That the current health of the wall doesn't update to reflect the same % of health with the new total if #1 is true.

If 1 or 2 are not true, then mounting the armor on the outside (so it soaks fire first) is the best option available. If 1 isn't true, then the loss of the panel while the wall is unharmed doesn't negate the extra health. If 2 isn't true, then the % remains the % and the benefit of non-AoE hits being soaked by the armor wins out over not losing the hp buff to the wall.:raven:
