Third-person?
Can the action sequences be played in third-person, or first-person only, like Sanctum?... Or am I barking up the wrong game tree?

First only - but the funny thing is that the first FPS mission you have, to get into it you have to build a Guardian and manage him old RTS C&C style to get you to the start of the mission...

But I wish that the whole game had the ability to zoom out to third person - I mean it already covers pretty much every modal of UX thus far.. I should be able to scroll from Inspecting an Objects Properties in a loot box to FPS to 3rd person to tactical Orbital Space Laser view... Dammit!..

Also -- Hitting "B" should take you to your Damn Backpack universally - from any screen.

I had it happen b4 where i was actually playing 3rd Person , it was prolly a glitch???? But i dunno how to replicate it again X_X

I mean - there is no Engine limitation -- everything is already rendering in real time - just give me the reigns on where my viewpoint site - considering I have so many abstractional layers to manage the experience already...

you can play 3rd person with some modes like manually controlling mechs.

but you can't 3rd person as a human

its a FPS RTS is this a joke post or something. command mode is more than enough of a view

@MAYHEM: the point is that in a world where you are literally in control of 360 3D environment, being locked into only FP can feel quite restrictive - especially given the snappy-responsiveness of the UI in all aspects - there are times when being able to dynamically adjust you OverSeeing of you character in the world is lovely.

As I mentined there are no restrictions from the capabilities of what the engine is already doing - it just unpins you from FPS

Heck - it would be fun to have iso-snap camera views as well.
