Increasing research to 5?

Heh peeps,

I just wondered what the best way to increase the researching to 5 would be. I’ve got people in there but not made a huge difference.

Do they have to be higher levels for more points? Do they need gear on also to increase their CP which would increase the research points?

I managed to find some recruiting and put people in all the slots but it’s not max, so I am not sure on the best way to get those research points to unlock level 4 and 5 stuff to craft them.

The research points I mean in the research lab, the man on the right unlocking his stuff, specially the bigger base stuff.

the points they give is 1:1 their power (and some bonuses)

equip them with gear

Level them up to learn skill passive (give CR)
put gear on them (put xen you don't want to use on the weapon, still give a bit of extra CR)
Hire operative with the 'increase research lab efficiency' and hope they roll the ability to increase the passive to lvl 3

Alright thank you all. I will stop selling gear and give them the gear to increase. I’ve already levelled up some but hired a lot of random people and just through them doing random stuff.
