if thats the official stance from the devs, thats a damn shame, game needs all sorts of polish in many areas, as much as i like it the game can benefit immensely from more development time.

As far as i recall from the discord they got pressure from the publisher and had to release, no clue why/how they managed to miss the "early access" tag though. Campaign isnt even finished and they just announced a now update for november.
So thy still work on it, though as with every early access game i dont know how far they will go.

Due to the huge workload of making a new area, the lighthouse area has been cut. Some of the contents originally planned for this area has been distributed into the existing four areas instead.
2.Will devs ever address the massive size of large bases which causes multiplayer loading times to reach minutes?
We will attempt to optimize this, but there is no definite schedule as it involves many underlying code issues.

Currently, there are no plans for new major DLC similar to RTD. However, two updates are planned, one in November and another in March next year. The November update will include new turrets, new equipment, two new challenges, new talents, risks, etc.

The main storyline of this game has already ended, but the story under the same setting will continue in our sequel.

3.Will devs ever plan to improve the Supreme Autoloader to distinguish its function from the advanced autoloader? Especially in its model appearance, number of pickup hooks, and pickup speed.

This feature is included in future update plans, but we cannot give a definite YES at the moment because we are still evaluating its technical feasibility.
The November update will introduce more equipment that boosts movement speed. But there are no plans for more equipments of such features. For recoil control, current firearm attachments already provide a bonus to that effect.
8.Will devs offer a method to build Guardians repeatedly, with more Guardian variants, better controls, or ways to increase their HP?
We have collected many suggestions on Guardians. But with much regret, there is very little we can do at this stage. The ground work of the code makes it hard to implement auto production queue, or smooth control. And very little room for new Guardian design, since the existing Guardians already have all types of turrects. We cannot come up with new designs that will bring new experience to the game.
9.Will devs ever plan to add more outpost components to increase the diversity of player outpost designs?
New building components will be introduced in the next two updates, please stay tuned.
10.Will devs ever consider an upgrade from the Standard to the Vanguard edition?
Unfortunately, this is still not under consideration.
11.Will the mechs from RTDB ever find their way into a regular mech hangar?
This was previously considered, but the idea was abandoned due to issues with the implementation (such as unique ammunition).
I would have refunded the game because it does not feel complete. Early Access tag would have solved many problem in the first place, but so be it.
Example: You even saw the 5th area on the map, but it was not clickable.
Yes, I have quite some hours in this game but under the premise that it will be completed one day.

Learned a valuable lesson with this game ... again.
considering the top-end cost of the game's premium version, 'valuable' is a big stretch. This is almost an entirely new genre due to the blend of different themes, the devs had a bad publisher that forced them into an earlyish release + not labelling the product EA. I had my fun and would love for the game to receive big updates and to be properly finished, but what we've gotten is great value for the price of the game. i got my ~200 hours for what, ~$40US?
it'll likely be 5 years before the sequel at the very least, the updates will hopefully keep the hype going and the players patient until that happens. That being said, you are very much right about one problem, the main story feels very unfinished, i understand the concept of a "cliffhanger", but this doesnt quite cover it, we need SOME sort of closure before the campaign is over.
