Is it really so bad?

Top negative reviews mention that graphic is bad, that optimisation is bad and that game crashes. Ignoring those 3, how is the game itself?

what's surprising: 1,400 Steam reviews and no one seems to be comparing it to Planetside 2. I wonder if IGN will.

its not bad, only thing i would say is the beginning startrs off really slow but its getting fun now.

Crashes makes it unplayable for some (including myself), i'll be giving it a few days for them to allow me to finish the tutorial. The game is no ready for launch, it does however have some cool ideas, and i'm sure it will stabilise in time (how long will determine how successful the game is)

The rendering in this game is very poor. You can look one direction, then quickly turn around and see objects render in and lighting take effect on said objects. Going into houses has no lighting, everything is just super bright for some reason. Game definitely needs some better graphic optimizations.

I like the game, had an issue with a progress blocker and that is about it so far.

given how insane the defense part is later in the game am acually astounded how good it looks.. the sheer numbers are staggering

Game looks great. But the Gameplay is so. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Boring. I played for near 5 hours and the RTS aspect of it NEVER showed its face. The most I used it for was to see the entire map and scan. Maybe place the free turret I got.

It's okay, considering its price. Sometimes feels like the VA is AI generated.

It starts very slow, and the "exploration" is pretty boring. IT does start to get very good though. The AI and animations are the weakest part but looked at as a "horde shooter" it makes sense 1000 complex models with complex animations and pathfinding would be unplayable on everything but the latest hardware.
I've got no regrets, enjoying it.

Some aspects need some polish (UX at the beggining is not that great, some of it improves once you get used to it and/or get the right tools) but core gameplay is fun.
For $25, you have your money worth (excepted if you're unlucky to be among those suffering from crashes).

It does seem like it could do with some adjustments though, but to be fair, those tend to get made. If you don't want to take that on trust, might be better to wait.

Crashes were fixed so its prolly my fav game around to be honest its a RPG LITE card game for first person tower defence survival. Pretty cool and if you like games like "ORCS MUST DIE" and stuff itll be right up your ally :D
