The advanced autoloader has an area marked where it will grab ammo off of.
The autoloader will NOT automatically grab any ammo. This one you will still have to stock manually with or manually use the command ... Then it will reload your turrets.
For automation you will have to unlock the advanced autoloader and advanced ammo maker... ez pz
Ah, that's odd because they added a grabber to the basic auto loader model which is why I was confused.
If it is an ammo box or artillery shell it will automatically be stocked.
Anything else will just be dropped next to the autoloader.
So those drones with the power banks on the side of them that fly away when you get to close being a pain to get the power banks from? No problem! use your auto loader to snag those power banks from those drones without alerting the drones at all.
During recovery day does some loot go flying out of bounds or into an area you can't reach? No problem! again hook them with the auto loader!
I did not know that was a thing, interesting.
if you mean boxing in the green line without breaking the line of sight of the loader to the turret, then: yes, yes you can box in the entire contraption^^
