how to get boss drop which are out of range

as title.
killed boss, dropped a nano processor that is WAY out of allowed movement range.
1) tried mule. can only moved to certain distance, then have to use jump to move closer, but somehow get stuck near to the item. failed
2) use autoloader teleport. tried for ?0 times? simply cannot click on the right spot

ended the tour in disappointment and anger...

Normally, items dropped by bosses outside the mission area, should be in a supply drop ontop of your base, once you defeated all enemies.
But I had items that droped inside the mission area get yeeted kilometers away for some reason.
No way of recovering those.

Unfortunately it's the downside with killing the bosses too quickly, only real option I guess would be to wait for the extraction plane to land, use a Ranger to get to it, pick it up, then hope you can get it back to base while dodging the insta-death pillars, but honestly a single heroic item isn't worth the effort... sucks though, hope the developers do something about it

that is the first nanaprocessor seen which I've been hunting for 3 tours already.

The cargo gusrdian can drive outside the circle and pick it up for you I had to do this a few times in the city myself
