Performance is dog piss?

No matter the settings i put it on, constant stutters and drops well below 60. Is this a me issue or is the optimisation just poor?

For context i have an AMD Ryzen 5600 and 6750xt.

Got a 5800x3d and 7800xt, and performance is meh, i'm running 1440p and on ultra but with Intel XESS on Quality, when putting it on local(I assume that's off) perforrmance goes from 95 to 60 or lower, even lower during fights, so performance is bad, it's sad because the game looks interesting

13900k (Stock clocks but undervolted) with 3080ti at 5120x1440. Anything over normal except for Graphics, animation, and view distance kill my performance. Plus all shadows and shadows and textures are hazy, spotty, and very grimy when at high/ultra. Game looks better at normal than any other preset. My roommate has a 9700k, 3080ti system I built for him and he has zero issues at 4k. Fracking weird. Only game where it does this,

turn down global illumination and shadows to lowest value and than u can have all other settings maxed and still play on old 1080 cards lol at 60 fps

its the shadow, if you turn that off in the setting the FPS jump way up.. it's like their shadow / light is raytraced only or nothing at qll

it runs pretty meh on my old intel gaming rig but my 2023 amd build loves it


i5 4790k at 5.0ghz with a gtx 1080 gets bad stutters on any action packed maps
AMD 7950x3d at 4.9ghz backed up with a 4080 never lags until end game or map overloads with loot

Guess the main problem is 8gb of vram on my rtx3070. So if you have more vram - youre ok, if no, well its going to hurt.

that could be one reason... i got 12gb on my graphics card...

ive only had issues with performance in the city ruins difficulty 2 and above on recovery day. I go from stable 60fps down to 20s

I9 9900k and 4070ti here and i get around 60-100fps at max settings 1440p in end game so seems optimized alright to me, i get the occasional drops during big waves to 30ish but it pops back.
