Well it's all pretty much in the title really but yes! You can now secure yourself a copy of this retro-monkey-fearing-strategy game for your computational device.

There's instructions on the main menu, but I kept them sketchy - there's more to discover in Insanium than initial impressions might give you.

I've tried to make sure it's stable as a table but it's a first release so apologies if you hit a bug! If you do, or even if you have a groovy idea for improvements, new game modes, etc. drop me a line in the Steam forums, on the website at http://catsmeat.com or via email: mail@catsmeat.com

Squeeze a Few "Deets"

Hey guys, Kudos on popping out this new game! I'm interested, because I really dig indie titles. I just was wondering if I could get a bit more of an explanation of how gameplay is unraveled? I looked at a "first look gameplay" video, but I couldn't exactly understand what was going on. Mind if I get more of an explanation? Thanks in advance!...

why the delay before moving?

Every time I make a character move, there is about a 10 seconds delay before they actually move to another room I don't know if it's normal or just on my computer During that delay I can still use the interface and issue other orders Also: you should really put some basic explanations about the gameplay somewhere in the game, and the fullscreen key should be mentioned right in the main menu, not mentioned in the game log after a couple turns...

Insanium: How to Play

If you've found the menu instructions a little light, I will go into the game play in a bit more detail here. In Insanium, you are commanding the scientific vessel the Cercopes with its crew of 7. In a regular game, one of them has already been killed by the chimp. All objects and crew have default starting positions but once you're used to the game and want to mix things up a bit, you can choose to make starting positions randomised on the select difficulty screen.
