These games have a small but dedicated cult following for a reason. Great art, interesting lore, and most of all, challenging. It's great to have a full remastered collection of these games, and to tie them all together with new transitions that make a full playthrough feel seamless.

Amazing game. Layer upon layer...as much meaning in the plot as the player wants to put into it. The game rewards meticulous explorers with numerous secrets. Casual gamers will likely be frustrated. If you like Rusty Lake games, check this out.

The Submachine universe is so immersive and imaginative. Playing Submachine relaxes me with its beautiful architecture and overall atmosphere. Its such a unique experience of art, puzzles and story! I can't get enough of the expanding universe. If you like point and click games and have a respect for art, this is the game for you 100%

An absolutely incredible reimagining of a series of flash games from many years ago. The puzzles are engaging, the narrative is strong, and the feeling is unmatched by other point and click games. A wonderful adventure, and the perfect game to get if you love point and click puzzles. No other similar game will have you more absorbed than Submachine Legacy.

I've been a huge fan of these games since I played the first one almost 18 years ago. It is possibly one of the best and most unique depictions of interdimensional travel I've experienced in a game. Each chapter introduces new aspects of the submachine and how it works. Sometimes you find it's through portals built by scientists in a lab or a lost civilization that figured out how to cross dimensions with systems of wires and keys. Exploring the levels and being required to write down mysterious glyphs, maps, and clues on a sheet of paper made me feel like a lost explorer forced to understand the wild and weird logic of the submachine. Skutnik has created an absolutely enchanting world that has stuck with me for almost two decades, and there's some truly fine puzzling here to boot. If you like atmosphere, mystery, and environmental storytelling, I'm not sure it gets much more pure than Submachine.
