So, there's obviously a lot of new content in the game. From the moment you boot into a new chapter 0 it's obvious things have been added, and I was finding little details all through my first run (i'm on chapter 5) that I don't think were there originally. Wanted to make a big discussion thread to discuss anything we find that wasn't in the original games, and what secrets they might hold.

My biggest one right now is that I don't think that the green circles were in the original games; does anyone know what they are or what they mean?

The live action videos in 2 and FLF are axed, for continuity's sake maybe? They would clash with the artstyle.

NEW THING: if you beat the Loop level in the way that used to kill you, you now to go a new area that jumps around randomly and is nearly impossible to navigate... EXCEPT sometimes randomly there's a big machine with 8 red lights. I have no idea how you'd turn them on.

There's also some loop teleporters that are closed that you can't enter, and ones that are open that you can that instantly take you back to the normal final loop level

The fact that you can go here and then go back to the previous level seems to be done because "you died lol" doesn't fit the new game's flow and that way you can get back to the level you escape from, but i have NO Idea how to solve the big machine. Maybe a set of coordinates we have to go to? Like some really bit esoteric ones?

Also, we've been finding a bunch of little spots that have a weird coded message, always in the form of 7 dashes where one of them is a circle instead. Like this:

No idea what they mean

I found how to activate the karma portal, which is spoiler for chapter 8. Here's how to access it.
- Clear chapter 7, and open the layer 2. Change to layer 2.
- Exit to main menu.
- Go to chapter 3 and clear the level. Find the machine. You will see the machine activated.
- Clicking karma portal will lead you to a random sphere-like-loop. You will find the message by wandering around.

The IOIIIII mark means which layer you must go. For example, IIIIIIO means you need to switch to layer 7.

Right, some areas had appeared in Submachine Universe appears in this game. You can find them by clearing Chapter 5 and clicking 'Shattered Quadrant' in the main menu.

In chapter 2, There are 10 micro stabliser (the secret item of this game) in chapter 2. If you switch to layer 4 (there is a hint 'IIIOIII' at the floor) at chapter 8 and go to digout, you will see a karma portal is activated. Clicking it will lead to other place, and go down, left, up, you can use 5 secrets. This will activate karma portal, and clicking it leads to another place. Go left twice and you can use rest of secrets. By clicking this, you will go to (BIG SPOILER!) a place that resembles Sketch of Sub2. By wandering there, you will get 'Monolith II' Achievement.

OKAY SO I figured out how the layers, secrets, shattered quadrants, and monoliths all interact.

Each level has at least 1 monolith, usually hidden where the old game had it's prize for finding all the secrets. Usually before you can find them you'll first find a note that has 6 lines and 1 circle, arranged to indicate a number: |0||||| meaning 2 or ||||0|| meaning 5 respectively. These indicate that to find the secret you need to go to chapter 8, switch to that numbered layer, then leave chapter 8 and return to the level you're on. When you do, the secret will have changed to something you can interact with. Some require more puzzle solving, some don't; I haven't found them all yet. Additionally, each side-level like the FLF level or the 32 chambers level has a monolith in it you can interact with.

When you interact with a monolith, it'll turn a single sigil on it from red to green. Somewhere in the shattered quadrant is ANOTHER monolith with an IDENTICAL symbol, and it will have turned green as well. If you find that monolith in the shattered quadrant, it'll now have some reward for you; a karma portal to a new area or an item to help you solve some puzzle.

Thus, in order to fully explore the shattered quadrant, you may have to find every monolith.

Find a magnet on a string somewhere in 110. He removed the spring on a stick for less confusion (though you can still find the stick in 100 storage)

Did anybody find all the secrets in chapter 4? It has two secret areas, one in ancient section, one in basement section, and each requires five secrets to unlock. I opened the ancient one, and it has a monolith. Secret coordinates from original sub4 don't work.

I can't find it.. Is it in karma portal or just in one of the rooms?.
