If the games had cost money back in the day, then would it be reasonable for Submachine: Legacy to cost 25 bucks?
If I’m hearing you correctly, you’re saying that Submachine: Legacy’s price should be be based on how much effort it took to transform the free versions of the Submachine games into Submachine: Legacy. Are there any other factors that you use to determine what Submachine: Legacy’s price should be?
If all of the free versions of the Submachine games were taken offline, then would you use other factors?
And as for being able to still play the online versions through something like Flashpoint, well, I suppose if one likes being stuck playing in a tiny window (and are alright without the new content and features), that's fine I suppose.
So, it seems like it really comes down to the fact that Mateusz Skutnik chose to distribute the Submachine games for free in the past therefore he shouldn’t charge for them now (or, at least, he shouldn’t charge for the parts of them that are in Submachine: Legacy).
