How to make hard bricks

I can;t figure out. I have some soft clay bricks but the game is not letting me place them in fire to make them hardened. I can not construct a kiln because i need hardened clay bricks in fire. Can someone explain me the process to make hard bricks?

Tu dois commencer par fabriquer le four en briques de boue

The game is not letting me to make mud bricks. there is no such option, only i can make mud mortar .

étrange, c'est la 1er four demandé dans le tuto...il suffit de 100g de boue pour 1 brique de boue, 20 briques pour fabriquer le four. Regarde dans "fabrication", "structures", "fours", c'est le 1er

are you trying to make them with "mud" or "dirt"? You need mud for mud bricks. I made that mistake the first time I played.

Finally i found out that i need to search for mud areas on the shore. I had only dirt and water. I didin't know there are places special for "mud" The game is confusing in many ways
