Stuck in cave

I got stuck in a cave, and the last save I had was from 3 hours of game play. There were no other work around for me as the amount of rock I could gather to make an inclined floor was to low. That made me wonder if it was possible to add a ladder in the crafting menu or a rope that can be placed before going down so to climb back. Thank you!

I’ve gotten out of pretty deep pits with just 6-10 large stones or ores. Have you tried the method in the last section of this guide?

Yes, but I did not have the required amount of large stones (I had only two and could not find more) or ore, and no pickaxe. So I got block, unfortunately.
