How do I smelt Bronze?

I have Copper pieces and Tin pieces in the Crucible Furnace, but it just says the Crucible needs to be equipped. It's lit with Charcoal and running but it says there's "not enough room in the crucible" but there's nothing in it, I just made it. What am I doing wrong?

Has the crucible been fired or is it still a soft clay crucible ? Mouse over it to verify its empty. verify you have the correct ratio of copper to tin. if everything is correct then you may need to close our the game and try it again. that seems to help me with weird issues that make no sense. maybe a bug or memory leak.

Yeah no. I've rebooted the game several times. Here's the screenshot of the game. There's NOTHING in the crucible and it's been fired to be a normal crucible for use. https://imgur.com/a/xRBzSJ5 The ratio of copper to tin is fine as well. I was gonna buy this but not if there's consistent bugs like this. I was having fun until now lol. And it's been like this since I posted the post.

Figured it out. has to be EXACTLY 1000ml. Duh. I'm stupid lmao.

well sort of. it can be up to 1000ml and no more. but it can be less.
