Eight days ago I found nine iron rich rocks in a row about four feet apart in one location. And among these iron rich rocks were several iron ore chunks. I thought the shortage of iron ore was fixed, but I have not found any iron ore or iron rich rocks since. Developer, please fix this shortage.

It happened again. Right after I write about not being able to find something, I go and find it. I've just found a place next to a cliff which has iron ore and five iron rich rocks close together. It seems that for now all of the iron is in one place, so until that one place is found, I go without iron. But at least it's good to know there is iron somewhere on the map.

panning a lake gives me the same as rivers, got gold and quartz aswell

On day ten in the full game and have not found any iron. I have taken long trips to the places where iron should be and have only found tin and copper. I have everything built to process iron but not finding any caves or iron rich rocks or iron ore. Developer please increase the iron deposits.

On day eleven I took a long trip south and finally found a cave with iron ore and iron rich rocks. About a third of the way back to my camp I stumbled onto another cave. It was getting late so I did not go inside. I have learned from experience that when I can not find something, if I write in the "Discussions" that I can't find it, the next time I play the game I find it.
