Maybe I'm stupid but I feel like the whole fungicide system is a bit strange in the way that you ad it as an item much like fertilizer, rather than being able to just water your plants with fungicide. Has anyone figured out a better system than filling a smaller container and adding all of it?

So I've crushed 300 realgar into the powder, but the User Interface hasn't allowed me to combine it with any water in any form. I've tried river water in a bowl on the fireplace, I've tried boiling it, I've tried putting river water in a Clay Pot on the fireplace. No combination I can find seems to create the Fungicide solution.
Has anyone found any success?

Yes - I had to boil the water in the clay pot first, then equip the clay pot in one hand (i.e. not on the fireplace), then 'craft with' on the realgar powder and the option was there.

Okay, thankyou for the reply. I tried precisely your steps Acidophilus. Boiled the water in the clay pot, put it in the main hand (tried it in the off-hand too), walked away from the fireplace, 200g of crushed realgar powder, right-click, Craft With and it pulls up the crafting menu for Crushed Realgar with the two entries being crushing the Small and the Large Realgar Pieces and no sign of placing it in the boiled water...
Am I doing something wrong here or is it possibly tied to advancement with Eric's questline?

Sounds like you've done it right - but have you had the letter where Elric tells you about using the realgar? If not then the recipe is probably not unlocked yet.

So yes I did just get the quest obtain 10 small realgar pieces. Does the quest need to be completed and turned in first for the crushed realgar recipe to be obtained? Maybe that's what I'm missing. Anyway here is screenie of my attempt to use the crushed realgar below perhaps you can see if I'm doing something wrong:

Also I added a lid to my jars. Perhaps adding the crushed realgar to the jars with a lid will cause them to ferment over time and thus produce the fungicide solution? You can see the results below:

So I've finally got the fungicide recipe, wohooo, thank you contributors :)
