We're sorry to hear you're having this issue.
Can you please try changing the resolution and turning off anti-aliasing?
If that doesn't work, please try turning off V-Sync in the game settings.
These steps helped some players with similar issues on Steam Deck so do hope that they will do the same for you!

i have played this great game for number of hours with no problems until now and my other games seem fine.
Thanks for trying that for us.
Can you please try moving your saved files somewhere else on your Steam Deck?
They can found here:
Home > .local > share > Steam > steamapps > compatdata > 1562430 > pfx > drive_c > users > steamuser > AppData > LocalLow > Black Salt Games > Dredge > saves
Please disable cloud saves first by right-clicking the game - properties - general tab - disable cloud saves.
Then, please move the saves folder to a different folder on your PC to keep them save.
Make sure you remove them out of the normal saves folder and then attempt to launch the title.
Get back to us when you can!

Thank you again for trying the steps.
Can you please confirm for us whether the Steam Deck is docked at all when trying to launch?
Can you please try launching the title when it is the opposite as to what you're currently trying it as?
I.E Dock it if it is not already, and vice versa.
Get back to us when you can.

but then i decided to uninstall/reload the game again ( while undocked ) this was the first thing i tried when i had this problem and it didn't work then but this time it did.
so i docked it and it works on the tv, the resolution was wrong but i sorted that in the settings and is now working great.
so thank you for your time and patience and if you have any ideas as to what the problem was in case this happens again with any games i would love to know.
again thank you and i look forward to whatever your next game might be...
We're delighted to hear that you were able to resolve the issue with Dredge by reinstalling the game while undocked. It's great to know that the game is now working smoothly both docked and undocked, with the resolution sorted out as well.
As for the initial problem, it's possible that there was a glitch or compatibility issue that was resolved by reinstalling the game. However, due to the nature of the hardware where Valve supports and manages it directly, it's difficult for us to pinpoint the exact cause. With that said, if you encounter similar issues in the future or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help!
