Some Dog Tags Unattainable

I have already beat the game, but i just wanted to say that 2 of the 4 dogs tags for me just could not be gotten from the crashed planes. There was no interact prompt no matter what angle i took and i even tried pressing it just incase. It doesnt appear to be game breaking, but the extra research points would have been nice.

Was this when going over the fishing spots for them?

Please can you try verifying your game files:

1. Right-click the game in your library
   
2. Go to 'Properties'
   
3. Go to the local files tab
   
4. Click 'Verify integrity of game files...'

I got the same exect issue... verified game files but it didn't help... (sad monster noises )

The dog tags in question are located at G13 & E14

Hey spaceoff,

There is no dog tag at G13 (though there is one at E14).

I think perhaps you might be assuming that every plane wreck contains a dog tag, which is not necessarily the case. There are 5 plane wrecks in the area, but only 2 of them contain dog tags.

Additionally, the most popular player-made map for the game shows that there are 4 dog tags, but actually there are only 3 in the game (2 from inside plane wrecks, 1 that must be dredged up)

Hmm, the only reason it would be missing is if you've already emptied that plane - is there a chance you've grabbed it already? Or perhaps sold a tag to the Trader in Little Marrow?

Either way, the dog tags aren't required for the 100% completion achievement, and there are no unique rewards or story progression for returning all 3.
