Encyclopedia and fishing location

I really like the encyclopedia that says where the fish can be found. But the map doesn't have anything on it that indicates where these locations are. Or do I not have a setting correct?

The encyclopedia lists the region (and time of day) where fish can be found. Your map should show the names of the regions - but it doesn't get any more specific than that. Additionally, the exotic fish don't list their location in the encyclopedia until you've caught them.

I've looked at the map, but don't seen any location names.

That's strange. If you google "Dredge Map", you'll see that the 5 main regions should have huge curved text showing their names. Are you saying your game doesn't show these?

Perhaps you could verify the integrity of the game's files via Steam and see if that fixes it?

Thanks for the tip. I verified my files and now I'm seeing names for the areas and the islands.

That's weird, but happy to hear it helped!
