Pale Reach: Can you kill the Monstrous Narwhale?

I pretty much finished the Pale Reach DLC and was wondering if it was possible to kill the monstrou Narwhale? Also what is the point of the narwhale feeding location on the central island?

It's to keep him occupied or he'll keep chasing you around. Don't think you can kill him. What else is there to do after beating the main quest other than finding all the aberrations? I can't seem to find where the Colossal Squid is located

I thought the Colossal Squid was a new gigantic fish but no its only obtainable via trawling

I literally got the colossal squid with my net on my way to the item you get for finishing the dlc

Can't kill it, just use Banish on it to drive it away, dock somewhere to drive it underwater, or use the feeding area to buy you time. That said, it seemingly stays in the center area of the place so you can do all your catching around the rim if you're looking for fish.

I went there on an endgame file so I had max speed so out running it wasn't a problem for me, so I personally don't know how troublesome it can be. Closest it ever got was attacking me when I was dredging Icebreaker parts and I was able to get out of the way before it actually attack.

Honestly if you have 60-70 knots and ash it's not that hard to escape it. Just going near the docking ports will make it dive/despawn, and if you have a trawl net you can just keep dumping fish on it's podium.
