It is highly advisable to prepare the crabs in advance. Getting the right crab after accepting the quest could easily take too long and you fail the quest.

Needs - Cusk Eel, Sailfish, Frilled Shark
Reward - Book(Nautical Engineering) Equipment types that use durability will lose it 15% slower
PURPLE:
Location - E10
Needs - Tarpon, Horseshoe Crab, Barreleye
Reward - Book(Pushing the Limit: Engines) Engines provide 7.5% more movement speed than listed.

Seriously though, purple is a must get, I think my boat moves 125 kmph without boost or something absurd like that.
I haven't seen anyone test that yet. Doesn't seem to be too long though because some people have been reporting how Yellow/Purple figure died for them before they could catch corresponding crabs in time.
Its just better to be prepared in time, hence I made this short guide. Specially since Purple gives a book that is one of the better books overall in the whole game. Higher engine speed is such a huge time saver.
