Do the special rods/lines do anything?
Got the rod for the shark stone but sadly it just doesn't hold a candle to the Fathomless Winch, do those things do anything special like increase chances of finding aberrations?

They give different fishing capabilities. I've currently got 3 of the special rods installed, and only needed one regular(heat rod) installed to be able to catch EVERYTHING.
