Master angler achievement

I have all 128/128 in my encyclopedia, but I didn't get the achievement. Is there something I'm missing to make this pop? I worked kinda hard for it :/

How long did it take you to get the aurora jellyfish aberration? I've trawled Stellar Basin for almost 30 full in game night cycles and haven't seen a single one. I'm at 54 aurora jellyfish and no aberrations, which is less than 2% drop chance so far. Every other aberration I've fished up has not been nearly this bad.

I'm fairly certain I actually got that one before the normal version. Think I snagged it in my net while just driving around.

This drove me crazy too--I trawled Stellar Basin for probably 15 nights straight with no luck, and decided to call it quits. I later upgraded my boat all of the way and started trawling just as passive fun time and somehow snatched the abberated jellyfish while passing through on another quest.

I hope you get it. It is hands-down the worst fish to get.

My boat was fully upgraded when I started my hunt for it, but still nothing. Guess I just have to keep at it.

Damn, I guess I just gotta keep trying. Sorry, I don't know why the achievement didn't pop for you. I use steam achievement manager on github for situations like that.

I have the same issue. Caught all 128 fish and still no achievement. The last 'fish' missing was the lobster. Dunno if this has something to do with it.

Holy cow...that was it! The lobster happened to be the last fish I'd gotten for the encyclopedia, and it just didn't count for whatever reason. Grabbing a second one did though. How funny.

Exact same issue and solved the same way, lobster was the last "fish" I needed to catch and after going back and catching a second one the achievement popped

I think I found the solution. I just closed the game, verify integrity, open the game and catch any fish. Then the achievement suddenly pops out.

i got all 128 for my encyclopedia but i dont get the Master Angler achievement. I just restarted the game, caught a fish with rod, i still dont get it, then i went to check my pot, i grab a urchin and a octopus then the achievement pops up.

My last fish was the sunfish the aurora jellyfish aberration I got lucky and only took me two nights now I'm try to catch a trophy version of all the fish good luck to me

If you still have this issue, there seems to be a bug that won't unlock the achievement when the last fish you need is caught with a crab pot. To fix it, you just have to catch a regular fish with your fishing rod.

That didn't work for me. Regular fishing did nothing, but as soon as I checked a crab pot with a lobster in it, the achievement popped, even though I'd caught it before. That was after over an hour of driving around fishing for random things trying to trigger it. I'm sure I'd checked other pots too, so it had to be the one with the lobster.
