Is Dredge crashing a lot for anyone else?

Haven't had any crashes for the first hour and a half but now it seems I can't stop crashing every ten minutes.

It could be an issue with newer GPUs, maybe? I have a 4080

It blue screened once for me during 10 hours of gameplay, but- not since.

it's crashed 3 times for me today. the screen will flicker and it'll freeze on a single frame until i force quit

This is how it happens for me too. I've had two occasions in where the game will freeze and there's no way out of it unless I reset the entire computer.

I haven't had a single crash during more than ten hours of gameplay so far - using Windows 11 on a 5800X3D, 32 gig of RAM and a 7900 XTX.

Yeah, I've had about 5 crashes - a combination of crash to desktop and whole machine hang

Same for me. Bought the game yesterday and was able to play for a few hours without any issues. Loaded up my save today to continue my journey but the game already crashed 3 times within 2 hours, same behaviour - short black screen flicker, freeze frame, "application not responding".

It could be an issue with the controller if you're using one? I decided to switch out from my Xbox One controller to my KB+m and haven't crashed yet.

If you're still experiencing this issue, I'd recommend dropping a post in the Report a Problem section, and one of the team should be able to help :)

I reached out to Team17 support, and I was adviced to perform a clean boot (I'm using Windows 10). That seemed to have solved the issue for me. Here's a link on how to clean boot, in case it might help you folks as well:
