Quest Question
For the 4 Hooded Figures - can you just store what's needed, even if it goes stale or rotten, like catch them any time and then give it to them much later? And are there any other pursuits that can be failed, with the exception of things going overboard? And are there things to avoid selling, (besides the buckler)? Lastly, can you reload a save after that happens to try to redo it?

Thanks!

1) Storing only sorta works, fish rots to rot in storage, and you can't access storage there. 2) Not as far as I know. 3) Sorta, assuming you ran around without actually docking- by forcing the game to exit without saving, given it auto saves every time you dock.

In regards to selling things, there are three or four (can't remember which) dog tags found in and around the wrecked planes in twisted strand, These can be turned in to the survivor for 1 research each. You will know when you found all of them because he will tell you. I never tried to sell these, but it is possible that they are sellable, so be careful.

I don't think you can redo hooded men, since by the time you fail them, there's likely auto save that won't let you do that. The rest - if you sell an item you have to instantly reload the save, otherwise, if you get to any port - you lost that item.

To store fish safely you need to have a fishing net. What you do is take a caught fish out of your cargo, put it in storage at a dock, then switch to the net and transfer the fish from storage into the net. This way the fish will stay fresh, to my knowledge forever. I've tested for over 5 days with no degradation.

If you let the fish rot in your inventory it will pretty quickly turn into a 1x1 pile of rot and no longer be a 'fish'.

P.S. When selling fish you will need to sell them one by one and do not hold F to sell all as you will lose the fish you're trying to save.

P.P.S Good luck with those hooded hoodlums, they are a pain, one of them died on me one my first playthrough so I had to start a new one to get all the achievements.

So, I know this won't help you now, but for anyone else reading through this, you don't need to "succeed" the quests to get the achievement, you only need to conclude them. So the moment the game officially confirms you've "failed", that counts as completed for the achievement's sake. There's a reason the achievement's description is worded the way it is.
