Recording Rarities - Do the fish respawn?

^ - I caught a Gulper Eel and sold it before realising I needed it for the quest. The pool is gone, and while I haven't waited that long, I'd love to know if they do actually respawn? If not, I'll likely just catch and sell the other rarities.

I'll update this discussion if the pool respawns :)

I haven't seen a respawn and it's been a long time. Have you tried talking to the travelling merchant? She didn't seem to need the fish itself, just that I'd found it.

I don't think elites respawn. And for the quest you don't need the fish, you need just to catch it. After that you can just go to the trader and tell where you caught it. The fish will still be in your inventory after that, you sell it anyway.

Ahhh thank you!!!
I can't seem to find the tigerfish anywhere though! I've looked online to find the spawn but it just isn't there for me which is a shame.
Anyone else had the same thing?

Where did you find the gulper eel? It's the last one I'm trying to find.

It's in the swamp area, Twisted strand, behind a wooden root/branch barrier you have to explode. I think it was on the more south side of the islands

that's where i got mine at least
