Beside fog, day and night, wind are there storms and big waves?

There are storms with lightning and some areas have waterspouts (they're not quite big enough to call hurricanes). I also once saw a hostile red waterspout that actively hunted my boat.

I have not seen any waves big enough to damage the boat but I have seen some big enough to mildly affect visibility and rock the boat about.
