exotics have aberrations now?

how do u get them? i checked some spots and i the exotics aren't there anymore. yes i do have the iron rig dlc so im confused, maybe i checked the wrong waterfall for the oarfish? i don't remember if there even is multiple waterfalls

You need the exotic bait that you unlock from upgrading the Iron Rig.

And then you go again in each of the 5 areas, use the bait to spawn an exotic fish and I HIGHLY suggest that you use Atrophy power so that you get the Abberation immediately otherwise it's pure RNG and you might need to use more baits than you can afford. They are kinda costly to craft.

Also make sure that you have the right rod equipped for the area. I was a big dumb-dumb and circled the entire Pale Reach TWICE before I realised why I couldn't find a Sleeper Shark location and reinstalled a rod able to catch Ice fish.

Can confirm, I caught 7 oarfish before I thought about using atrophy XD

Thanks ive been searching for an hour for that fish until your comment and i realised i didnt have an ice rod equipped

artrophy,very useful,even the rod is useless,just boom and you'll get all of them
