Can't give a relic to the Collector

I'll try to be as vague as possible to avoid spoilers.

I may have broken the main quest line. I went to Stellar Basin shortly after the cliffs, and I found a relic there first. So, by the time I turned the Cliffs relic in and got the Collector to tell me where the Stellar Basin relic was, I'd already gotten it, and going to the X on the map didn't trigger anything. I don't get a dialog option to turn the SB relic in with the Collector.

Am I stuck?

Is the Relic in your Storage? To turn it in to him it has to be in your ship's Cargo.
