New player pissed off that dog tags can be sold

Well because they are not logged in a pursuit and have no deeper meaning.
You can get research more than enough elsewhere.

no worries my man, you are going to get more research then you ever need. the travelling merchant alone sells 1 each day, later even 2 per day.
