DREDGE
Is this game available elsewhere?
After the family sharing fiasco, I no longer want to give Valve my money. Is this game available on another platform? Many thanks.

Ah brilliant, thanks!
What's the "family sharing fiasco"? I've used it without issue as recently as last weekend. I played Monster Hunter Wilds from my roommate's account, and my dad playing Wreckfest 1 from my account. I've even been able to trick GeForce Now (a virtual desktop provided by Nvidia) into letting me play Family-Shared games on a remote desktop.

"There was a big issue, but I found a workaround that works for me with my level of knowledge, so you should go back to trusting Steam"?????
You using virtual desktops or whatever hardly helps that A) it still doesn't work for me, and B) they still did it. They're still greedy, even if you personally can get around it. I don't trust them anymore.

Lol, cry moar. :steamsalty:

It works fine for me and I don't have to use any work-around. Maybe you're just not intelligent enough to figure the new system out. /shrug

But you haven't explained what the problem even IS, besides "it doesn't work". Can you not join families? Not play shared games? What?

I never said I found a workaround, I said "I've used it without issue as recently as last weekend." Being able to use it with GFN is just a bonus.

I'm blocked from using it. Members of my family live elsewhere in the world, some travel for work, and for some who live near me it just refuses to work regardless.

The greedy gits should've left it how it was. Don't bother defending Valve, I have no time for "I'm alright, Jack!"
android, if u have a good mobile o tablet device is a must have
I mean you can do what you want but not bothering to look for a solution for the family sharing isn't making anyone sympathize with you.
Maybe they were just trying to keep leeching to a minimum.

"brilliant" would also be looking for yourself. it's not that hard
The isthereanydeal site should list everywhere Dredge is legally sold for PC and will tell you the current prices and how low it has gone on sales.
I love how you lot miss the OPs explanation of the family sharing workaround.

Instead you lot spout salty ♥♥♥♥ because the only thing hanging out of Gabe Newells arse is YOUR toes.

I love steam and I love the family sharing aspect. I see why they have it setup that way to stop abuse but if your going to comment, at least know what your talking about.

It was not a fiasco.

For me at least, I genuinely wasn't sure what problem OP was having with Family Sharing, because they didn't elaborate until pressed. It wasn't until they explained their family was spread out over multiple countries that it made sense.
