DREDGE

Just how scary is this game?
I've always wanted a fishing game like this - maybe without the tetris looking cargo management - and it is fully playable on Deck which is a major plus .. but as someone who suffers from panic disorder I steer clear of the whole horror genre, especially psychological horror games/films.
If you think, "Yeah, this might cause anxiety to this poster" can you suggest other boat fishing games that are Deck compatible?

man kann die wesentlichen Grusel Szenen auf " Passiv " stellen.
Es sollte dann eigentlich kein Problem mehr sein es zu spielen.

It's not super scary. Well, your first few nighttime fishing trips can be a little worrying, but once you learn how things work and upgrade your boat's speed a little it's not bad.

It's atmospheric. There are handful of minor jump-scares, but nothing too serious.

Mostly, it's a quiet fishing game.

Oh, it has a setting just for people like me? That's really cool.

Dredge is very playable as a fishing game. The fish and crabs are more interesting than scary. The story part of Dredge didn't impress me and wasn't scary, but I can see how it might be for other people. I've played the game through twice and have all achievements and additions to the content.
Well, for the first time playing this game you might be scared and stuff but afterwards you should be fine, just don't lose your heart after seeing that thing swimming near you.
Thank you for all the answers.
I started really hardly moving outside safe zones because I'm really scared of the ocean, but after a few in game nights, you notice that is nothing outside "frustrating"
What I mean by this is that you start to suffer more for your lost cargo than the monster itself attacking you or anything like that

So yeah, don't be afraid to play it, is a fantastic game
